DRAWING
CONCLUSIONS
I've been listening to the monohull and multihull debate for more
than thirty years. I've sailed on both sides of the debate,
first in a Westsail 32, and then later in a Privilege 39
catamaran. I've experienced the points and counterpoints of
sailing offshore in monohulls and multihulls, and now I'm ready to
draw conclusions.
Here is what I have learned so far.
It doesn't matter how many hulls you have. It's the size of
your dreams that are important.
This picture is taken inside
the Hole in the Wall on the northern coast of Langkawi, Malaysia.
The hole penetrates sheer limestone cliffs and then opens into an
anchorage and an upstream river system that provides many
days of exploration for the adventurous cruiser.
