MINIMUM DAILY REQUIREMENTS
Everyone should have at least one dream and one dream machine in
their life. Those are your minimum daily requirements for
spiritual survival.
I recommend that you have them both. A dream without a dream
machine may only be a daydream. But when you see a dream
machine parked in your driveway or tied up in a slip at the
marina, you know that your dreams are real.
My daughter drives a Land Rover Discovery. It's her dream
machine, and it's proof that her dreams are alive.
My son sails a Hobie 18 in Kentucky. It's his
dream machine, and it's proof that his dreams are alive.
I have two Land Rover Defenders fully kitted out and ready to
drive around the world. They are proof that my 4x4 dreams
are alive.
Exit Only waits patiently in the wings ready for
another adventure. Exit Only is proof that my sailing dreams
are still alive.
If you don't have a dream and a dream machine, you may die of
mental malnutrition. Your dream deficiency will cause your
spirit to wither.
But don't despair. The dream factory is still open, and
there are plenty of dreams available that are just right for you.
All you need to do is pick out a shiny new dream and start working
on it.
When you meet your minimum daily dream requirements, your life
starts getting better, and before long, you realize
there is no limit to how good your life can become.
